How it works
- Message us. Send START by WhatsApp, call or book a call. We ask what you need and reply with your price.
- Upload your documents. Use our secure client portal from your phone. Do not send Social Security numbers by text or regular email.
- Review and sign. We prepare the return. You check it and sign electronically, and we file it.
What to have ready
- Your W-2s and 1099s
- A Social Security number or ITIN for everyone on the return
- Last year’s return, if you have it
- Records of income and expenses, if you own a business or work for yourself
- Letters from the IRS or your state, if you received any
Self-employed and business owners
If you work for yourself, drive for an app, run a salon, clean houses or own a small company, your return has more parts than a W-2 return. We prepare the self-employed return, and we prepare partnership, S corporation and corporation returns. If you want us to keep the books all year, see bookkeeping and payroll. The right tax setup can also change how much you pay. See tax planning.
ITIN applications and renewals
An ITIN is a tax ID number for people who must file U.S. taxes but cannot get a Social Security number. We help you complete the application or renewal for $125 per person. We explain how the forms fit together. We do not give immigration advice. Read our guide on getting an EIN without an SSN to see how an ITIN and an EIN differ.
Help with IRS letters
An IRS letter is stressful, and it is rarely the end of the world. We help you understand what it says and prepare a response for you to review and send, starting at $125. We do not represent you before the IRS. If your case needs a representative, we tell you.
Prior years and amended returns
Behind on your taxes? We prepare prior-year returns for the current price plus $50 per year. If you made a mistake on a return you already filed, an amended return starts at $150.
